After graduating with distinction from Cambridge University I trained in centres of excellence in the UK and abroad, before taking up my current post as Consultant Gastroenterologist at Barts Health, Whipps Cross Hospital.
I am happy to discuss any intestinal condition and have particular expertise in the investigation and management of inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease), acid reflux, intestinal polyps, cancer screening, dyspepsia (indigestion) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
I have an excellent track record in endoscopy, providing expert gastroscopy and colonoscopy for investigation and treatment of gastro-intestinal problems. I am an nationally accredited expert in cancer screening and advanced endoscopy.
I have a background of excellent scientific & clinical research. My PhD at Cancer Research UK led to publications in world-class journals such as Nature and Nature Medicine. I continue with patient-centred research at Barts Health.
